The hammer was part of a larger treasure that was placed in a clay urn and buried. The original find is today located at the Smland County Museum in Vxj, Sweden. The original hammer was found with a ring. Stamping triangles was a common way of decorating jewelry during the Viking Age. Material: Sterling Silver 925 The hammer is rather small in size.
