Bitouzet Prieur, Volnay Caillerets Vintage:2021 This is an utterly charmingA more restrained nose grudgingly reveals its ripe and ultra spicy aromas of plum and black cherry liqueur. There is both fine freshness and punch to the beautifully detailed and equally stony medium weight flavors that terminate in a chiseled, youthfully austere and Zen like finish where the only reproach is a touch of warmth. This too is a really lovely wine and classic Caillerets in its refinement and sense of harmony.
