Now we make our own blue marbelized clay body for throwing and handbuilding, a seasonal offering. These dishes begin with a slab of clay draped over real scallop shells to take on their impression. They are then hand shaped over plaster molds, given a tiny foot ring, and dried then fired and finished with food safe satin glaze. Each piece is
