Palate is balanced with a minerally yet juicy core, layered on Tuscan terroir with a balsamic element. Governo alla Toscana is a traditional way of vinifying where Sangiovese grapes (and Merlot with this particular wine) are harvested at maturity, then undergo fermentation. Additionally, a smaller parcel of these grapes are kept on the vine longer in order to dry and ripen. This is then added to the
