Lychnis coronaria (Catchfly) Size:Large Self-seeds after bloomingClump forming perennial with attractive, slightly furry silvery gray leaves. Magenta flowers appear in late spring to early summer. Prefers full sun in well drained soil but will tolerate less ideal conditions. Leaf clusters form mounds up to 10" tall with flower stems rising 1' 2' above leaf mound. Self seeds after blooming; works well as a ground cover or border.
