In the beginning, the Lantenhammer distillery housed the production, from 2007 in its own premises in the immediate vicinity of the Schliersee. Since the beginning of 2022, Slyrs has been an independent company, which is now known beyond the German borders with a large number of different bottlings. Slyrs Bavarian Cream Liqueur combines malt whiskey with Bavarian cream. Bottled at
